Balambér Paál

      Balambér Paál is a Hungarian independent artist who emigrated to the United Kingdom in 2016 and completed a degree in Creative Writing & Film Studies at Edge Hill University.
 

      Since then has directed two festival-shortlisted short films, published an essay on Hungarian Poetry as well as a couple of his short stories and poems. These achievements rewarded him an Excellence Scholarship that helped him program and develop a playable demo of his very own RPG videogame.

 

      He often describes and defamiliarises the otherwise familiar world, viewed from the perspective of an outsider. His main themes include nature, post-humanism, nomadism and general curiosity.
 

      Apart from arts, Balambér is an Office Manager at Radwraps Ltd, designing bespoke radiator covers and dementia-friendly wallpapers based on innovative technology. He is also helping the UK’s National Health Service in reducing carbon emissions with Post-Ease, Radwraps Ltd’s sister company.
